Saturday-perfect for Knitting

Today is very dreary-rainy and dark. When the weather is like this, all I want to do is knit or stitch on my latest project. I've finished my first pink scarf for the Breast Cancer Project. Going to start on my second one today.
I've also found another Charity Project....caps for babies. Can't remember the real name. But the pattern is extremely easy and I can see myself donating several in the next couple of weeks. Also helps to use up some scraps of yarn.
I'm also going to work today on my Chatelaine Christmas Mystery III by Martina Weber. I'm a little stuck on the Jessica stitch. Can't find it in my specialty stitch books, and the diagram is a little tough to figure out. But, I know eventually I will!!!!!! How is that for positive thinking?
Well, off to the shower to get my day started properly.

Happy Stitching and Knitting everyone!

Joanie's Place

Joanie's Place

Well, today is Sunday and it is beautiful out right now, going to rain later. Going to hurry out and do some knitting in the fresh air while I can. Yesterday I cast on some pink Reynolds Utopia for a scarf to donate to a lady who is collecting pink only scarves for the cancer society in her area. I would link to that, but still have a lot of figuring out to do abouth this thing called blogging. Anyway, I cast on 30 stitches, done in a faggot stitch. Knit one, yo, k2tog all the way across every row. It came out real pretty, but I think it is just too wide. So, just tore it out and will start again on 21 stitches. I don't like a real wide scarf.

Have a great day everyone!

New at this thing called blogging

Thought I would join millions of other people and Blog. I do all kinds of needlework. Plan to stop by here at least a couple days a week to let the world know what i'm working on and if I can figure it out, maybe even show off some of my work.
