Just a small update today

Sunday here already and I finally posted to my Let's Stitch blog. Thought it might be a good idea to just get a few words in here.
I've been stitching quite a bit lately. Being a part of the other challenge blog makes me keep going. Now, I still do fall asleep often, after working, cooking dinner, doing wash, etc. But, I think I have gotten into a routine of picking up my stitching before I get too interested in TV.

Now that i've gotten some projects going well, it is time to add my sister's leopards picture into the que. Took me almost 20 hours just to get the material gridded. It is another of the huge projects, every surface of the material is covered with stitching. This one has a lot of greys and whites. Will be absolutely gorgeous when done though. The material is teal colored, a little harder to work on in the evening, but I do have my lamp and magnifier my son got me for Christmas a few years ago. It really does help. It is no fun getting old in that respect.

Last week work was a little crazy. Seems like I had so much going on outside of work that I was running all week long and not getting a lot done. Work is still far behind both in the office and out. Bruce and David have been busy every day all day. We have a compressor that is overdue in being installed. Now we have an evaporator to put in as soon as it comes in. Guess I should be happy that we are busy in these terrible economic times, and I am really!

We saw our accountant and heard all the bad news, but we have to kinda ignore that and start looking toward the future and the better days ahead.

Got to go grocery shopping now. Our refrigerator looks awful empty. For some reason David and Bruce expect there to be food in there.

Bye for now.

I'm so badddddddddddddd

haven't blogged in so long. I just recently figured out how to post pictures. I think i'll post pictures that I am working on right now in my cross stitch.
#1-Trick or Treat Fairy by Mirabilia
#2-Juggy Bug Design Monthly SAL
#3-Maryse Dupont-Alphabet Sampler SAL
#4-2008 Blackwork SAL Sampler
#5-First Robin of Spring by Pamela Kellogg
#6-Oakhaven Designs SAL Sampler 4 of 15 parts done.
I have many, many more projects started, these are just the 6 i'm trying to concentrate on right now.

Will try over the next few weeks and months to post more often. This is a really good way to keep track of my progress on any or all of these projects.

See you all soon, Love Joanie
